11 February 2011: Photos of the USS John C. Stennnis (CVN-74) Aircraft Carrier docked at the Naval Base at Coronado Island in California. The USS Stennis is the seventh Nimitz-class nuclear-powered supercarrier in the United States Navy, she was commissioned on 9 December 1995. Her home port is Bremerton, Washington. This showing was a historic move the US Navy is opening the Stennis to public tours for the kick of 100 years of Naval Aviation in San Diego. This was a rare chance for the public to see a Nuclear Carrier.
