First football game played on October 6, 1923 by USC hosting Pomona College before a crowd of 12,836. Hosted the Xth and XIIIrd Olympiads, Superbowl I and VII and the 1959 World Series. Former home for the NFL LA Rams 1946-1979, MLB Dodgers 1958-1961, AFL SD Chargers, NFL LA Raiders 1982-1994. Currently serves as home field for USC Trojan football since 1923 and other current world-class events. Seats 92,516 people. Olympic Torch is on fire in this photo.
